1. HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:  Homemade Boboli pizza and football definitely go together. Submit your original Boboli pizza recipe that is inspired by a famous football city.  At the conclusion of the entry period, judges will determine up to 4 Semi-Finalist entries which will be posted online for visitors to vote to determine the winners.  Online voters will also be entered into a random draw sweepstakes for the chance to win prizes.  Some entries, which are not necessarily Semi-Finalists, may be featured on www.boboli.com/football from time to time during the promotion period.

2. ELIGIBILITY:  The Boboli “Great American Football City Tour Pizza Recipe” Contest (“Promotion”) is open only to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.  Employees of George Weston Bakeries Inc., its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members (parent, child, spouse, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win.  All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  Void outside the listed jurisdictions and where prohibited by law. 

3. HERE’S HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST:  From 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on 11/17/08 to 11:59 p.m. ET on 1/1/09, visit www.boboli.com/football and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the entry form and submit your entry.  Online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on 1/1/09 to be eligible.  Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address per day.  You may enter each day but each recipe entry submission must be different.  Online entries received from any person or email address on any day in excess of the stated limitation will be void.

Alternate Form of Entry:  Or, you may mail your contest entry form and recipe submission to:  Boboli Great American Football City Tour Pizza Recipe Contest Entries, Marina Maher Communications, 830 Third Avenue, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10022.  Mailed entries must be received by 1/1/09.  Limit one entry per mailing envelope.   Not responsible for lost, late, illegible, mutilated, misdirected, postage-due entries or entries not received by mail deadline.  All material submitted becomes property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
 
Recipe Requirements:  Ingredients must be readily available.  Entry must include the name of your pizza recipe, the ingredients, exact U.S. measurements and preparation instructions.   Be sure to include your original Boboli pizza recipe that is inspired by a famous football city.  Submissions must be in English.

Entry must be your original work that has not been previously published or submitted in connection with any other promotion, has not won a prize or award and has not been previously trademarked or copyrighted.  Modifying, enhancing or altering a third party’s preexisting work does not qualify as entrant’s original creation. The entries cannot contain any defamatory statements (including words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group); they must not include threats to any person, place, business, or group; they must not invade publicity, privacy or other rights of any person (living or deceased), firm, or entity or otherwise infringe upon any person’s personal or property rights or any other third party rights, and they must not in any way violate applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. 

Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entry that, in its sole opinion, refers, depicts or in any way reflects negatively upon the product, Sponsor, the Promotion or any other person or entity, or does not comply with these Official Rules.  Entries must be suitable for presentation in a public forum, in sole determination of Sponsor. By submitting an entry, entrant acknowledges and agrees that Sponsor may obtain many submissions under this Promotion and that such entries may be similar or identical in theme, idea, format or other respects to others submitted under this Promotion and/or other promotions staged and/or sponsored by the Sponsor, and waive any and all claims entrant may have had, may have, and/or may have in the future, that any composition and/or other works accepted, reviewed and/or used by the Sponsor (or its designees) may be similar to his/her entry.  Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Sponsor does not have now, nor shall it have in the future, any duty or liability, direct or indirect, vicarious, contributory, or otherwise, with respect to the infringement or protection of any copyright in and to entrant’s entry.

OWNERSHIP/USE OF ENTRIES:  By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees Sponsor shall own the entry submitted (including all rights embodied therein) and that it and its designees may exploit, edit, modify, and distribute the entry and all elements of such entry, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity without compensation, permission or notification to entrant or any third party.

4. JUDGING:  All eligible entries received will be judged by a Sponsor-appointed panel of judges to determine up to four (4) potential Semi-Finalists.  Judging will be based on the following criteria: Originality and Creativity of Recipe – 50%; Appropriateness of Recipe to Contest Theme – 25%; Perceived Ease Of Preparation – 25%. The entries with the four highest scores, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be deemed the potential (4) Semi-Finalists.  In the event of a tie, tied entries will be broken based on the highest score for Originality and Creativity of Recipe.

Up to (4) potential Semi-Finalists will be notified by mail and/or e-mail.  The (4) Semi-Finalists will be sent free Boboli pizza product coupons (or their equivalent), will be required to create their recipe using the Boboli pizza and take a digital picture in JPEG or GIF file format.  Semi-Finalists will then be required to send an email to the address indicated in the Semi-Finalist’s notification packet with the digital picture attached.  In addition, the (4) potential Semi-Finalists will be required to complete a Release of Liability, Prize Acceptance Form and, if legally permissible, a Publicity Release.  All documents and the recipe photo must be completed and received within seven (7) days of date of attempted delivery of same.  Noncompliance within this time period, or return of the prize/prize notification as undeliverable, the inability of Sponsor to contact the potential winner within a reasonable time period or noncompliance with these Official Rules will result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion an alternate potential winner may be selected, if time permits. 

5.  ONLINE VOTING: 

• SEMI-FINALIST VOTING: Beginning 12:01 a.m. (ET) on 1/12/09 through 11:59 p.m. (ET) on 1/18/09, up to 4 Semi-Finalists’ entries will be posted on www.boboli.com/football.  During these dates, website visitors will be given the opportunity to select their favorite entry to determine the top 2 Finalists.  Online voting will be tallied to determine winners, with the two recipe/photo entries with the most votes deemed the 2 Finalists. 
• FINALIST VOTING: Beginning 3:00 p.m. (ET) on 1/20/09 through 11:59 p.m. (ET) on 1/26/09, the 2 Finalists’ entries will be posted on www.boboli.com/football.  During these dates, website visitors will be given the opportunity to select their favorite entry to determine the Grand Prize winner.  Online voting will be tallied to determine winner, with the recipe/photo entry with the most votes deemed the Grand Prize winner. 

In the event of a tie in any voting stage, tiebreaker will be based on the highest score for Originality and Creativity of Recipe as determined from the panel judging. Limit one vote per email address per day.  If more than one vote is received per person per day, only the first vote received will be eligible. 

6. ONLINE VOTING SWEEPSTAKES:  For each eligible vote received, online voter will receive one entry into the sweepstakes.    

SWEEPSTAKES RANDOM DRAWING:  A random drawing will be conducted on or about 2/9/09 from among all eligible entries/votes received.  Random drawing will be conducted by Marina Maher Communications, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Promotion.  Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries/votes received. 

7.  PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: 

RECIPE CONTEST PRIZES:  One (1) Grand Prize – The winner will receive a “TV Room Makeover” consisting of a liquid-crystal display TV with speaker set, and pizza cutter, serving pieces, coasters (ARV: $5,000); (3) Prizes (1 remaining Finalist and 2 remaining Semi-Finalists) – Each will receive tools for a “Boboli Pizza Tailgating Party” consisting of a miniature grill, serving pieces, tray table (ARV: $500).  Limit one contest prize per person or household.

SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES:  (2) Sweepstakes Prizes – A one-year supply of Boboli pizza (ARV $185) (Awarded in the form of Boboli pizza free product coupons (or their equivalent). Coupons are not redeemable for cash.)  Limit one sweepstakes prize per person or household.

Sponsor reserves the right not to award the prizes if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries. Prize award is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Prizes consist of only the items specifically listed as part of the prize.  All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. 

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS:  Each potential Semi-Finalist will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, certifying that the submission is his/her own original work and he/she holds all rights to the submission, that the submission has not been previously published, has not won a previous prize or award and that he/she followed the Official Rules of the Contest.  No substitution or transfer of prize by winner is permitted.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value.  Sponsor reserves the right to reproduce the entries in full or edit and enhance the entries at its discretion By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold Sponsor its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns (collectively, “Released Parties”), harmless against any and all claims, injuries, losses, damages and liability of any kind arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of entrant’s participation in the Promotion or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize.  Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name, city and state, and/or likeness and/or entry submission for purposes of advertising and trade or for any other promotional purposes, including a winner’s list, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.  By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the Sponsor’s and judges’ decisions which are final and binding in all matters.  In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Promotion materials and the terms and conditions of theOfficial Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.  Released Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, or for printing, mechanical, network, electronic, computer or any other error of any kind, relating to the administration of the Promotion, the judging of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any other Promotion related materials. 

9. WINNERS:  For names of contest and sweepstakes winners, available from 1/27/09 to 2/27/09 visit www.boboli.com/football, or send a separate, stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope to: Boboli Great American Football City Tour Pizza Recipe Winners, Marina Maher Communications, 830 Third Avenue, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10022, to be received by 1/2/09. Residents of Vermont need not affix return postage.

NOTICE TO ONLINE ENTRANTS:  ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, garbled or undelivered entries. Released Parties are also not responsible for faulty, incorrect or mistranscribed phone/e-mail transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical, hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Promotion, lost or unavailable network, server, cable, satellite, Internet Service Provider (ISP) or other connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure that may limit a user's ability to participate in the Promotion. Released Parties assume no responsibility for undelivered and/or undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering by a user's Internet service provider and/or e-mail client or for insufficient space in user's e-mail account to receive e-mail.Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion if fraud, misconduct, technical failures or other causes destroy the integrity of the Promotion; or if a computer virus, bug, or other causes corrupt the administration or security of the Promotion as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.  Released Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion. In the event of termination, a notice will be posted online and all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to termination will be included in the judging.  In the event a dispute arises regarding specific individual entitled to receive prize, entry will be declared made by the "authorized e-mail account holder” And he/she must comply with these Official Rules. “Authorized e-mail account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.  Entrant may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the participant is the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address associated with the account/submission. Any damage made to the web site will be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry.  Proof of submitting entries/votes will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor.  Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of entry or any other means to subvert the entry process will void all such entries/votes.  Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the entry of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the account holder fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules and void all associated entries.
